I selected this photo because of all the lines combining into each other and the camera captured the lights to make it look like a complete circle around. Compositionally, there is radial balance because of the shape it is making. There is two focal points in this picture. One of them is the center of the circle, and the other focal point is the girl in the back looking like she is trapped behind the lines. To take this photo I had the camera set on a slow shutter speed because the lights create a blur motion. If it was on a fast shutter speed, the lights would look frozen.

I selected this photo because of all the leading lines that it shows. It creates appealing lines and shapes along the brick and shows the rough texture created. This image leads your eyes going up, and makes the bottom of the image is more clear than the top of it. I had the setting on a fast shutter speed, to make sure there was no blur happening. I kept this picture in black and white because it creates a dramatic mood. I was right up against the wall, while taking the picture because it leads your eyes up. This image has asymmetrical balance because the left side is a little more different than the right side, with the lines going in opposite directions.

I chose this picture because of the texture that it shows and the creepy theme that comes with it. The texture shows the rough feeling of it. I took this picture in Salem and it was part of the herbs that the witches used to heal things like wounds or a cut. I took it from a low distance to show the size of them and to get the light to hit them all right. I kept this photo in black and white because it creates an eerie mood. The ISO would have been around 1600 because i am indoors. The white balance would have came from the light source coming from above. I took this picture with a fast shutter speed to capture this with no blur. The focus point of this photo is the herb at the top taking in all the light.

I chose this image because of the dark and light values shown. That is why I kept it in color, other than black and white. I took this photo with a low ISO, about 100, and the white balance i used was sunny. It was a slow shutter speed to create that blur look. There is negative space is the background along the fence. The rule of thirds was used in the picture to make the center of the pinwheel a little off centered. I adjusted the camera so the center of the pinwheel is in focus while the rest of the photo is not in focus. This photo leads the viewers eyes right to the middle point of the pinwheel.

This photo was placed in the double exposure category. I took a photo of me, and a photo I took with shells. I layered them on top of each other to make the double exposure occur. I framed the shell around my eyes to create the sense of how I like the beach and to have the image create a more organized look. In stead of having the shells overlap my eyes and not be able to see them, I placed the shells there so you would be able to see them clearly. The shell creates a triangular shape around my eyes. You can really see the texture of the shells in this photo making a bumpy feel to it.

I chose this photo because there is a sense of movement because off the way she is turning. She is making direct contact with the the viewer. I chose to keep it in black and white because of the way the light is hitting the side of the face to create a glow. The point of view the photo was taken was straight on. The background on this photo I made completely black, no sources of lights on the background because i wanted her arm and face to stand out. I made the light shine on her hair to make her hair show a little bit more. I took this photo with a 1600 ISO, and the white balance I used was incandescent, with a fast shutter speed.
